I recommend that people sleep in sweats for just that reason. LOL I also suggest that you teach her to go on cue so that she knows she's there for a reason and it doesn't involve dawdling. I usually say, "Hurry, Hurry!" But if you use Hurry Up when you're talking to your husband that won't work because the dog will have to "go." Some guide dogs are taught to "Park it!" Really, you can use anything that you don't use for any other reason.
And you're not getting old! :-)

Thanks Darlene. And I try to go out with her some times, but after about 8:00pm if I'm not at work, I'm usually ummm in my PJ's lol and she likes to spend hours outside! But, I'll start wearing a coat and try going out with her Everytime. I'm going to have to if I don't want my neighbors to kill me!
And yes, I do believe I ordered them from Karen. Thanks for the link, I can go see what happened now more easily since I'm sure I didn't save it, lol
As for the Academy Awards, thats not something I'd stay up for anymore, lol. I can watch the Highlights tomorrow if any interest me. I'm getting Old!

Hi Lorna,
I'm happy to have questions to answer. We're going to talk about behavior tonight and barking is certainly a behavior. LOL A normal one for dogs but one that isn't always acceptable to humans. Barking on Cue is certainly a good choice. In case we don't get to it on the air tonight: go out with your dog. He probably has a million reasons to bark when you're not there.

Darlene, I want to listen to your Show tonight. Do I just click the Listen Live button on the top of this page? Also, I am in need of your Expertise for my Beagle, lol. I am at a loss on how to stop her from barking when I let her outside at night in the back yard. I'm trying to teach her to bark on Command, but so far no luck. She's just over a year old and her attention span leaves Alot to desired. Plus I have yet to receive my Clickers. I think I'll have to try re-ordering them, apparently I must not have completed the order correctly.
Oh, and I was going to listen to you anyway, lol. I didn't realize that I could ask you questions here for your show, when I came to your site tonight, I swear!! ;-)
